included designing a typographic identity and a catalog for an art exhibition by the title, Out of Time: A Contemporary View (2006–07). The show is a collection of work that examines the variety of ways that contemporary artists address the experience of time. What I wanted to accomplish in the design of the title identity was the sense of time and of motion to compliment the subject matter. around displacement reflected in contemporary artwork that call attention to displacement as a disruption in the continuity of place, relationships, identity, movement, and memory.&nbsp; The title (T)HERE is fluid and can be read in different ways: There and Here, Here or There, There-Here, Not Here Nor There, and so on. This creates a sense of unsettlement and rootlessness. &nbsp; With this theme in mind, I developed an identity and visual language that includes images as objects shifting and moving; edges cutting off, making us aware of the periphery; and uneven letter spacing in titles and artist names, thus creating a feeling of ‘not entirely here’ and ‘not entirely there’. <img width="2000" height="1649" identity and collateral design This project was about creating a proposal for a startup company or organization. The process included creating solutions by means of research and strategy; branding and identity; communication with client, designer, and audience; conceptual deconstruction; and concept and form. &nbsp; I have created a store called pich•ef•kes. The definition of pichefkes (borrowed from Yiddish) is small meaningless objects.
